It has been a long time. Too long. Summer moved into fall, although fall is not much to see in California. There is a lot on my mind. Hense my return to blogging. Plus I got an iPhone, which makes blogging on my lunch break fun.
I just finished the twilight series. For those of you who have never read them, head straight to your nearest bookstore. They are amazing and I honestly could not put them down. The extreme passion between the two main characters is what got me thinking in the first place. Do you think passionate love only is present between two people never meant to stay together forever? I began studying the couples closest to me in my life. They were the easiest targets. I noticed not one of my friends has a passionate relationsip besides my sister, and her current one is not something I view as healthy or working out in the long run. Convenience and passion is all they have.
I also don't see my relationship with Whitey as passionate. It is hard to make a passionate relationships from two people who were previously friends. Passion is present slightly at the beginning, but it is more a rush of being intimate with a former friend.
What I worry about is will I need that passion present to completely be satisfied with my relationship forever?
