Falling Behind
I am slowly falling behind in my posting. I wrote a long post about Whitey’s surprise party and then for some reason, blogger freaked out and didn’t post it and it was lost in blogger hell. A lot of hard work down the drain. Here goes the shortened version since I am way too busy at work this week to retype the long version again. (my patience is also trying and I have decided to always type my posts into word and copy and paste into blogger.
This pic was also taken after Whitey and I started to tear through it. I then realized we might want to take a pic.
BTW-we celebrated our year anniversary at the beginning of the year and look what the lovely chef brought me after my favorite dinner at Roys. So so yummy.....
This pic was also taken after Whitey and I started to tear through it. I then realized we might want to take a pic.Whitey’s 40th surprise party turned out perfectly. My friends came over, cut the cheese, prepared the food and drinks and kept me sane in the morning. I left to get Whitey, blindfolded him with plenty of flack and fight, and was able to somehow get him surprised while entering the limo without him finding out for over a month! Quite a feat. We took the limo to Temecula to go wine tasting, one of Whitey’s favorite things to do. We started at the massive South Coast Winery, where my sister stole his birthday present and presented him with a king’s cup wine glass. I got in a mini tiff with her over the stealing incident but other than that, there were no additional fights or brawls to be made. We headed to Frangipani next, which was a lot smaller and way more quiet. Mount Palomar was the final winery and drunken debauchery was bestowed after a five hour session of drinking in three wineries and a long limo ride. They were less than pleased by Whitey had a huge smile on his face and that was the only thing I cared about. We ended our limo riding, wine tasting adventure with The Captain’s Cabin for dinner. I was so happy that I went with a random nice restaurant and not one of the most popular in Temecula. We were drunk, nosey, singing and cheers-ing over and over and over again. Our waiter loved us and I tipped him extra for putting up with my crazy friends. Overall, the day was perfect and Whitey was more than happy I went out of my way and surprised him. His friend from Phoenix was able to make it too, making it his dream celebration.
