The Question Game

So LIZ and DUSTIN seem to be playing a extremely fun game and I want to join in. You guys get to ask me any question you might be able to come up with in my comments section and I will answer all of them this weekend/Monday. Anything is up for grabs (well, probably almost anything). Can't wait to see what you come up with.

What a fun way to end the week!

Golden Spooner

My co-workers and I have somehow developed a ritual of heading to this heaven daily. Golden Spoon is amazing. I have recently developed a love for getting vanilla yogurt and hot fudge. It reminded me of something that I could not put my finger on until this afternoon.....

McDonalds ice cream sundae. Love them too! It tastes exactly the same. But amazing at the same time.

Crimped hair and some younger MJ

After a shitty night of hearing about Paul from a mutual friend over dinner, I decided to bring my revenge driven body down to the bars for an 80's night extravaganza. Blue Beet, a hole in the wall local bar, has 80's night every Tuesday night with the best 80's music EVER.

After dragging my friend Erin from her dinner party to the bar on the peninsula, we proceeded to dance our freaking socks off. I met the guy (lets call him guy X) from Friday night there to see if there was any connection (haha) and tested out his 80's dancing skills. They were non-existent. Not a great sign. We did happen to make two really awesome guy friends whom are attending next week with head bands and shorts. Can't wait to see that. Towards the end of the night, my hope in men was again tarnished when I saw guy X making out with another girl at the bar.

What kills me is....are guys really that desperate? don't get me wrong after seeing his 80's dancing skills I was not overly joyed with the man, but come on....do you really need to make out with someone else after you were meeting me there? Amazing! Guys never cease to amaze me. This whole back in the dating scene could begin to get really interesting.

So I ask.....Is there any normal places to meet great guys? Where did you meet your amazing man?

Why Sunday Free Flowing Champagne Brunch and a Lovely Day in the OC Don't Mix...

Eliza, her roommate and I headed out for free flowing champagne brunch at a local Irish place near the beach. After getting a little loopy, we decided our best bet would be to sober up on the beach and enjoy the lovely day. We sat out near the beach for almost an hour, when we all decided we were thirsty beyond belief. Walking into the first establishment we saw, we ended up drinking a few schooners of Mimosas. Not a great idea on our part.

Once you decide to drink on a Sunday afternoon of a lovely day, you can't slow down or stop. It is much too hard. We then skipped to the next bar down the Newport boardwalk--Sharkeez, a crazy young people's zoo. Sharkeez so kindly allowed us to drink a shark bowl of flavored goodness, which turned out to be not a good idea. After a short cab ride home and a failed plan to head to my hot tub, Eliza and I awoke at midnight both confused and fighting a raging headache. We sat around drinking water trying to figure out what the hell happened. Which brings us to the concussion that Sunday free flowing champagne brunch and an amazing day in Orange County just don't mix. We probably will definitely go easy on the champagne in the future.

Ever Feel Like An Animal?

Me and Eliza on Cinco De Mayo. They dragged me out of the house for cocktails. Single girls, out on the town in the OC = a great time.

Life Goes On.....

Thank you so much for your continued support and thanks for coming back to read the new page. I LOVED my old layout by NELLO so much that I just transported it to my new site. I wanted to start anew. And boy have I done just that.

I somehow managed to move out of "our" place and into an apartment with a normal roommate in a matter of one week. All my stuff was out, I was out and have begun the process of moving on. I have some amazingly supportive friends helping me every step of the way. Boy did I get hit in the face by an unexpected door, but I feel a ton of new windows are opening all over the place. It is like a blessing in disguise.

Work has been getting better. I have been working my butt off to keep my mind off things and it is really starting to pay off. I am doing great! I have also been spending tons of time with new girlfriends. They are awesome and Sex and the City has been good to me. What would we do without Carrie?

Breakups are hard, but from each one we learn and get closer to "the one." I feel I get closer and closer every time. I also can look back and be happy for the memories share with the "exs" of my past. Life is definitely looking up and you are in for a world of new experiences for me to blog about. I can't wait!! More pics, more blogging and more ranting and raving about a broken heart to come. Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to update your links with the new address.

*hugs and kisses*
